1. NO loaded firearms behind the line at any time. (This includes carry guns.)
2. There will be an assigned SAFE area where you can repair or clean your gun. The slide must remain open with the magazine out for semi-auto’s and the cylinder open for revolvers. When you approach the line, your gun must be locked in the open position, as well as when you leave the firing line after shooting. If you are holstering a weapon, it must remain there until given the command to load. No ammunition of any kind shall be loaded at any time into a weapon until you are on the line and ready to shoot.
3. You must match your opponent on your start. Revolver against revolver, semi-auto against semi-auto, 10 round max in every magazine. All reloads must be 10 round magazine limit only.
4. The range officer has the final decision of the match. He will say who the winner is. If there is cause for a re-shoot, the range officer will make that decision. If you hit the stand and more than 1 plate falls
on the table, keep shooting. If the plate turns sideways, keep shooting. Plates just have to be knocked over, not off the table. If a plate is shot down and bounces back up, the plate is considered DOWN. The range officer will say when it is safe to set plates for the next shooters and to pick up brass.
5. You will be given range commands as follows:
a: Shooters load and make ready.
b: Stand by , muzzles on the table
c: FIRE
Plates just have to be knocked over. Stop plate shot last. When someone does this, the range officer will say (cease fire). At this time, you will point your gun down range, drop the magazine, eject any bullet that may still be in the chamber, locking back slide so that range officer may see the gun is safe. If you are carrying in a holster, you will then drop the slide forward, pull the trigger while pointing down range, and holster the weapon. This will not be out of the holster until you are shooting on the line again.
7. Eye and ear protection is mandatory at all times, even for spectators.
8. All shooters will begin each match with the muzzle of their gun pointing down on the bench, (not on the first plate) The plates just have to be knocked down, STOP PLATE LAST, or you lose. If you shoot the other persons stop plate, you lose. Plates standing sideways have to be knocked over.
9. In the case of a tie between an odd number of shooters, a timer will be used to determine the winner by clearing the plates and stop plate in the least amount of time. If there is an even number of shooters, then it will be by elimination, (win or lose), as to where you end up placing, depending on how many shooters & payoff spots there are.
10. Absolutly No Whining
