I dedicate this site to anyone who truely loves the challenge of shooting fast and accurately and the competitions that surround this challenge. We here in Rhode Island and not to forget some of our friends in lower Massachusetts meet almost every weekend at a number of fantastic locations to compete in head to head fast shooting steel plate knock down challenges, and even an occasional bowling pin shoot here and there, or we have large timed shootouts like the one you can find posted on this site at Shootout 3and more to come. We work hard to continuously improve our skills while getting to know each other and share pointers to see that we all grow in this sport.
The truth is that you don't need to be the fastest and most accurate shooter, you just need to have the want to try! Thats it! Safety is our number one concern so if you have never fired a gun before than please get in touch with us first and we can help with some basic instructions first and having fun right after. Shooting is fun and shooting fast is even better. (Especially when you do it accurately!)
Some of the course setups are just amazing! When Bob or Ray have their way we get massive numbers of the trickyest setups. From 30+ targets that go front to back, change heights, and manage to span over a wide distance to the X-Factor, Octopus, and Trees and racks galore, it is a wild time.
The purpose of this site when it becomes fully up and running is to share the fun and challege we've experienced with each other, and to get those who are curious on what we do to come try it out, while hopefully helping others catch the fever we all have. But even more importantly to demonstrate to the world that guns are safe in the right hands and when treated with respect perform like no other. Through the recent elections this week, the party that has usually aligned against guns now has control of the House and Senate. We need to show that our guns are ours and we are granted this right through the Constitution of this beautiful land and we deserve them with no additional licencing or registration, no additional taxes, safety features, permits, or features to stamp useless information onto casing we need to reuse over and over. This sight will be a place to voice concerns and ideas and show support for our gun clubs and our rights.
